Collectable Coin Series 1 #3 Tiger 131 Tank
The Tiger 131 coin is the next in a series of exclusive Tank Museum collectable coins. This special Tiger 131 coin features the infamous Tiger 131 tank and is third out of six limited edition coins in Series 1.Â
The Tiger I is arguably the most famous tank of the Second World War. The impenetrable armour, powerful gun and huge size of the Tiger made it a legend in its time. It struck terror into the hearts of Allied tank crews when it first appeared in 1942. The Tank Museum is home to the world’s only running Tiger I tank and runs at the bi-annual Tiger Day Events.
The first series will encompass tanks in the Museum’s collection dating from 1939 – 1945 and the first tank in the collection is our world-famous Sherman tank as used in the film “Fury”, available HERE. The second coin in our collection is a Churchill AVRE to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day HERE.
The coins will be strictly limited to 500 each, and are individually numbered so you will need to be quick!
